”PROGRESSIVE TRACKS» Radio Show #64
9:00 PM (Pacific) Monday, June 30, 2014
Live Streaming: KPTZ.ORG (Live Stream) or KPTZ iPhone App
Terrestrial Radio: KPTZ 91.9 FM Port Townsend, WA (USA)
After SeaProg 2014, I’m still on a ‘Live Music Jones”, and so this week everything’s live on Progressive Tracks. I have a couple of fairly obscure bands, one preview of an upcoming live DVD, and a few absolute classic live cuts from some of Prog’s heavy-hitters: Supersister, Halloween (no, not the hair-metal band), El Trio,Deep Purple, Genesis, and Yes.
I hope you’ll take the time to tune in on Monday night to check out some stuff you might not otherwise hear (if you can’t, see below for how you still can at any old time)……………and most importantly, always remember to Prog On!
OTHER OPTIONS FOR LISTENING TO PROGRESSIVE TRACKS:
1. DAR.fm is still a great option for listening to Progressive Tracks. It will allow you to record/replay Progressive Tracks for no cost on your PC or Mac……on YOUR time schedule.
2. You can also listen to the songs from the show (and ALL previous shows) on SongDrop.com without all my banter, if you prefer.
3. If you have an iPhone, you can download the free KPTZ listening iPhone App (from the App Store) that will make things a whole lot easier to listen live.
4. Go to the KPTZ.org home page to view the last three tracks played. You can also check out current/past show playlists on Spinitron. And if you send me an e-mail, I will be happy to e-mail you a playlist.
5. Contact me with comments and suggestions at ProgTracks@KPTZ.org
